Industrial Lubricants

The EKO range of industrial lubricants includes products intended for:

EKO Circolub

EKO CIRCOLUB products are high Viscosity Index, stable paraffinic oils naturally resistant to oxidation. The EKO CIRCOLUB grades differ in viscosity only.

ISO Viscosity grades available: 32, 68, 100, 150, 220, 320, 460.


EKO CIRCOLUB product range, is suitable for circulating oil systems, including lubrication of large journal bearings, and for many industrial hydraulic applications where anti-wear additives are not required. Also suitable for once-through lubrication systems and for bearings, as well as for many industrial gears not requiring heavy-duty oils.

EKO Gearlub

EKO GEARLUB gear oils are superior-quality, extreme-pressure lubricating oils for enclosed gears and bearings operated under heavily loaded or shock-load conditions. EKO GEARLUB oils are formulated with sulphur-phosphorus, EP additives in solvent-refined base oils to permit operation at high temperatures with minimum wear and without encountering additive deterioration or deposit formation. The use of carefully balanced base oil/additive combinations gives these oils excellent oxidation and thermal stability properties, thereby ensuring long service life. The excellent water-separation properties ensure rapid removal of water in wet applications. 


EKO GEARLUB oils are suitable for use wherever industrial EP gear oils are required, and are particularly advantageous where operating temperatures are high.

EKO GEARLUB oils are ideal for heavily loaded gear sets, including worm and industrial hypoid units, and for gears which are subject to shock loading.

All grades are suitable for circulating lubrication systems, although the lower viscosity grades are more commonly preferred for such applications.

EKO Hydrolub HLP

The EKO HYDROLUB HLP range, are premium-quality hydraulic oils with low pour points to ensure fluidity at low temperatures. They have a high Viscosity Index which limits the change of viscosity with change of temperature. Blended with selected base stocks, they contain anti-oxidant, anti-rust, anti-wear and anti-foam additives.


The EKO HYDROLUB HLP range, has been developed for use in a wide variety of industrial hydraulics applications such as machine tools, presses, contractors ’ plant and many types of equipment which transmit power through a hydraulic medium. The anti-wear characteristics ensure extended pump life in all hydraulic systems.

The hydraulic oil viscosities of the EKO HYDROLUB HLP range have been selected so that the optimum viscosity can be used for any hydraulic system operating temperature.

EKOTHERMAL heat transfer fluid is a premium solvent refined paraffinic product with exceptional inherent oxidation stability and resistance to thermal decomposition.

EKOTHERMAL should be used only in closed systems where bulk temperature does not exceed 316°C. It is used for most conventional applications because of its low volatility, good low temperature performance, low corrosivity, relatively low viscosity, and good heat transfer properties.

EKOTHERMAL can also be used in open systems as long as the bulk temperature does not exceed 185°C.

Paraffinic rubber process oils of the ASTM D-2226 type 104B, differing only in viscosity, volatility and gravity.


EKO PROCESS are plasticiser oils for specialist rubber products such as butyl rubber, copolymers of ethylene and propylene ( EPR ) and terpolymers of ethylene, propylene and diene ( EPDM ).
